Extrait du livre The Raggedy Snowman
This is a story I heard that you may find absurd, but I heard it from a really good source. It tells of a snowman, who you may just know, man, or this could all be made up, of course.
This snowman had an eye that saw moments go by, and he knew how to make the most of each one. Though made from just snow, he had a secret, you know, and you may learn it before this story’s done.
Snowmen fall from the sky in the blink of an eye, and some are rolled up and dressed up quite nice. Some are built up real fine and stacked in a straight line, so they look like they are carved out of ice.
One snowman one day wasn’t made quite that way; he was crooked and his head was too fat. His mouth was missing some rocks, his mittens were socks, and he was topped with an odd purple hat.
But he didn’t mind, he didn’t care, for the people who loved him, well, they were all there. He was not just a raggedy snowman, you see, he was actually part of a raggedy family of three. With his raggedy wife and his raggedy son, the raggedy snowman knew how to have fun.
