The mystery of the blue holes by Arnaud de Buchy, Sonia Grandame and Joachim Hérissé published by Le Regard Sonore
Like a mirror on water, the sun flashed down its reflection between each of the islands in the middle of the sea. A sea so bright that it seemed as bright as the sky above it. A few fishing boats drifted here and there on the calm surface of the sea. Moko and Totemie couldn't stop admiring the island.
A man approached them. "Are you travelers?", he asked. "Yes", Moko answered. "I intend to discover the end of the world." "No traveler can reach his final destination without first crossing the blue holes. Take this rowboat and let the ocean guide you", said the man. And with that, he left them. Moko and Totemie didn't understand what the man was talking about."
From the moment they were on board, the rowboat drew itself beyond the lagoon. It moved faster and faster and then it started to spin. Totemie grabbed on to Moko, more frightenned than ever. "Don't be scared", Moko said. "The ocean is strong and she will know how to protect us." At that moment the sky changed colors, the sun reflected strange shapes… And the sea became blue, bluer even than the sky. The rowboat swas lifted high up into the air and suddenly a great chasm appeared. The rowboat spun and spun between sea and sky until it disappeared into the heart of the ocean.
