My name is Caillou
Hi, there! You don’t know me yet, but I’m a kid just like you! I have two eyes. I have two ears. I have a nose. I have a mouth. I also have two arms. And two legs. Exactly like you !
Ta-da! My name is Caillou. What’s your name ?
I have a mommy. Her name is Doris. She’s my very own mommy. I also have a daddy. His name is Boris. I play all kinds of games with him.
I have a little sister. Her name is Rosie. I love Rosie, but sometimes I wish she’d just vanish. There’s also Teddy, my teddy bear! He goes everywhere with me.
I have a grandma and a grandpa, too. That’s my whole family. Who do you have in your family?
When I was still inside my mommy’s tummy, she was trying to think of a name for me. “How about Arthur?“ my father said. “Thomas? Paul? Leo? Mario?” And my mother always said, ”No, I don’t think so.
My daddy thought of some more names. “What if it’s a girl...“ “Adele?“ “Lucy?“ “Maggie?“ “Violet?“ “Scarlett?“ “Those aren’t quite right. I don’t know...“
