hey diddle diddle
Hey diddle dilly, It ’s time to get silly, Like Mother Goose likes to do. We’ll start with her verse then make our own, Maybe you can make up a verse, too.
Hey diddle diddle, The cat and the fiddle, The cow jumped over the moon. The little dog laughed to see such sport, And the dish ran away with the spoon.
Hey diddle doodle, The boat and the poodle, The pineapple made a big fuss. The purple duck hoped to join the fun, But was too busy driving a bus.
Hey diddle daisy, Now start to get crazy, The hippo can dance on her toes. The fridge flew a kite in a pink sky, And the buffalo’s hair is in bows.
Hey diddle dumpkin, The goat and the pumpkin. The camel is taking a bath. The donkeys all have their swimsuits on, And the cheetah is teaching them math.
Hey diddle dunky, The organ and monkey, The elephant sat on the stool. The penguin was glad to see her friends, When she put jellybeans in the pool.
