Extrait du livre Chloe the Cow
“How are things?” asks Chloe. “Ruff!” says the dog.
“Oink!” says the pig. (Some of Chloe’s friends like to “ham it up” for the camera.)
“You’re QUACKED!” shout the little ducks. “Watch where you are walking!”
When all the goats say, “Behhhh,” it hurts Chloe’s ears! “Quiet kids!” says Chloe.
The mother horse and her foal are quiet. “They sure look happy,” Chloe thinks, “and that’s the main thing.” …mane thing?
The roosters are just waking up. “Can I borrow a comb?” asks the rooster.
Chloe misses stepping on this rabbit by a hair! ...a hare?
“How are you two?” Chloe asks the sheep. ...ewe two? …two ewe? Chloe walks away sheepishly.
“Moo,” says Chloe. “Moo,” says the cow. Now that’s more like it!
