As the story unfolds, we meet more Chicken Little characters. While running away, Chicken Little comes across his friends. They are birds, like him: he first runs into Paulette Poulette, then Gédéon Dindon and Colette Canette. But Renaud Renard takes advantage of their fright to capture them! Fortunately, Chicken Little gathers up the courage to get him and his friends out of this situation.  

The moral of Chicken Little is that here is no point in panicking! What scared Chicken Little at the beginning of the story was just an acorn falling on his head. Chicken Little learns how to deal with more serious events, for example when he is captured by Renaud Renard. But to do so, he has to keep his cool. Being brave is also more fun!

Chicken Little is inspired by an American fairy tale called The sky is falling!. In the original story, the main character is a hen, instead of a chicken, who lays an egg at the end of the story, after escaping the fox.

Originating from an American tale, Chicken Little is available on Storyplayr in both English and French, like the stoy of Goldilocks and the Three Bears.

Chicken Little is also one of the children's stories that Disney Studios turned an animated film in 2005.
