Caillou loves his mommy
Mommy is eating breakfast and reading the paper. Caillou is playing with Teddy. Teddy sits on the fire truck. Caillou pushes Teddy around very fast, making lots of noise.
Teddy is tired. He is crying a little. Caillou wraps him in his favorite blanket and says, “It’s okay, Teddy. I’ll make you feel better, and then you’ll have a nice little nap.” Caillou sings softly: Teddy, my little one, I will always love you. And you will always be Teddy, my little one.
Caillou gets a ball out of his toy box. He takes it to his mommy. Then he waits for Mommy to look at him. Mommy smiles at Caillou and keeps on reading her paper.
Caillou runs back to his room to get a seashell. He goes to see Mommy again. “Listen, Mommy,” Caillou says, putting the seashell to his mommy’s ear. “Yes, I can hear the ocean,” Mommy says.
Caillou goes back to his room again. This time he gets his favorite book and puts it on the table on top of Mommy’s paper. He climbs gently up on his mommy’s lap.
